Tejas Katoti was initiated into music under Legendary Harmonium maestro Pt. Rambhau Bijapure. He continued his musical education under his father Dr. Ravindra Gururaj Katoti. He was a recipient of the C.C.R.T. Scholarship, Ministry of Human and Cultural resources from 2019-21 He is recognised as a 'B High grade' artist by the Musical Audition Board, A.I.R. He completed his bachelors degree at College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad and is currently pursuing his Masters degree at School of Performing Arts, Bharatiya Vidyapeeth.
